Artybuzz has formed a new company to move into creating specialist wall murals. The new website MuralsWallpaper.co.uk, specialises in creating wall murals wallpaper, custom wallpaper and bespoke wallpaper for homes and businesses.

The new website is giving artists on Artybuzz the opportunity to have their work sold in a brand new ‘Art Mural Wallpaper’ category on the site, so if you would like your work to be considered for inclusion in this new category as a mural custom wallpaper, please contact us to declare your interest and let us know which work you would like to be considered.

We are open to hearing about any kind of art, so feel free to put forward your work if you are interested. The only condition is that the images you put forward must be available in a very large format, or if you are a designer, in vectors format ideally. This will enable a high quality murals wallpaper to be created.

We recently had a ‘Tree’ themed home page which people seemed to like as we sold a couple of pieces of the home pages work that day. Trees also seem to be a pretty popular subject for artists on Artybuzz so we’re going to run another ‘Tree’ themed home page very soon.

As part of our new ’share’ area on the blog, you can add links to your tree artworks below which we can then consider for a home page feature.

In association with Artybuzz.com, a new arts organisation in Liverpool called Fallout Factory have come to us with an opportunity for two artists to exhibit work at an exhibition and night of music in Liverpool.

The exhibition will be held at Leaf Cafe in Liverpool’s creative quarter, and anyone can enter their work for consideration at this event.

If you would like to enter your work for consideration, you can either email us details of your work, or contact Fallout Factory on their website. The organisers have stated that they are especially interested in the work of photographers.

Today we are launching two brand new contests on Artybuzz!

The two new contests include a general contest open to any kind of artwork, and a more specific themed contest! Anyone can enter into the general contest, but the themed contest runs along the them of ‘Nature‘, so your images have to be of natural images/creations.

So, if you have some natural images of animals, trees, flowers, the countryside, beaches or anything else, be sure to enter them into our new contest and get some great recognition and a small prize for yourself too!

Both the contest above will run for two weeks until April 30th, and each winner will receive 3 free postcards of their choice, plus a blog feature and £5 off gift voucher! Art Poster Contest Winner – John Gaffen

One of our much loved artists John  Gaffen won our poster contest this time with his lovely tree photograph ‘Turkey Oak in Autumn‘, as seen below…

John will now recieve a free £40 spending voucher on Artybuzz, as well as a large poster of his image to keep. ‘Squirrel’ came a very close second with his woodland scene ‘The Fox and the Forest‘.
